The guys had plenty of interesting stories to tell, especially how they crossed paths at the Troubadour with a young Metallica the early 80’s. Well, it was almost time for the guys to hit the stage after 20 years and only three practices. The floor was packed. As the set continued it was visible that the guys were having a lot of fun and had become much more relaxed. The boys closed the set with a cover of the Ramones, Blitzkrieg Bop. That is always a fun, classic song to listen to, and everyone loved it. After the show had finished they were bombarded with people who just wanted to say hello, take a photo with them, or ask for an autograph. Watch out for some more shows because Overkill is back and they sound better than ever! |
