GBH

This band has not been seen by most people out here on the west coast in years. The name GBH brings back memories of the massive shows they played at the Santa Monica Civic as well as the Olympic Auditorium back in the 80's. We do not have that many photos of GBH since some sort of official with the event thought it would be a good idea to shake down all members of the media...mmm what should we write.
With shoes flying and the dust cloud kicking up again, GBH played a truly Best Of set. Diplomatic Immunity, Hunted and City Baby Attacked by Rats which merged right into City Babies Revenge was a true favorite with the crowd.
During the show the drummer overheated since he was not used to this kind of heat in England and needed to take a break for an iced down towel before he could continue. Their set ended with "No Survivors" and everyone in attendance wishing they could play for another hour.
The Damned

It don't matter where you are on the Punk rock spectrum, The Damned is always gonna be a favorite. Captain commented that he was glad that Punk rock outlasted all that long haired stuff on MTV and how everyone has discovered how fun Punk rock was. There were a group of guys that were flowing The Captain beers during the show - Ahh nothing like a cold beer when you are jamming with your band.
