TSOL

Probably regarded as the most irreverent band that the Punk scene has ever experienced, TSOL with Jack at the helm still pulls no punches. Early recording, Superficial Love got the crowd off to a good start as temperatures were now starting to reach 90°. Jack was questioning what the hell is up with the ticket prices and then charging people $5.00 for a bottle of water - it's hot out here, how come there is no free water?
The stage hands showered the crowd with buckets of water, drenching the front row security in the process. Jack went on to say how KROQ never played them on the radio and how this whole event was a sham to get Punks interested in their lame radio station again so that they could sell you all Levis - Jack has never been one to mince words about how he feels.
During the set Jack asked the crowd to find them a huge backyard party to play at shouting out his phone number to call him - we will keep you posted if the party materializes.
Circle Jerks

Wild in the Streets, running running Wild in the Streets. The Circle Jerks are a band that beats to the soul of the the LA Punk scene spit out a great show. During the set Keith Morris talked a bit about the history of the LA Punk scene giving props to The Flesheaters and The Plugz, two bands he felt contributed so much to LA Punk rock yet did not get proper credit for what they had done.
With a massive dust storm kicking up from all the skanking, pits were everywhere, chicks were flipping over the barrier and the crowd yelling for more. The set they played went through all their recording giving the fans a good mix of songs from each era of this seminal band.
