The Hunns |
We pretty much got reminded about this show again last minute and blazed a trail up to the Key Club in Hollywood for the 6pm show. This was a free show that served as a video shoot for an upcoming show on Fuel TV. We got in through the back door right as Steve Olson was announcing Duane Peters and The Hunns to the stage. |
Put it this way anytime you go see The Hunns play it is a full on kick ass Punk rock show. There is never a let up in the action and the crowd is never left with a moment to rest. The final song of the set ended with Corey Parks grabbing some flammable liquid and a torch and lit the place up. |
| Every time she does this it always seem that some poor bastards get caught off guard, sending a few of them to the floor to duck the flames. The Hunns after this show left for tour in Europe, so you guys in Europe go check out The Hunns website for tour dates near you and wear some flame retardant clothing. |

Next up was TSOL and Steve Olson once again introduced the band that he has been listening to for most of his life. Then Jack appeared from behind the stage and the set got started with Superficial Love. These guys may be celebrating 25 years of Punk rocking and their shows are just as rad and they were back in 81, minus the riots. |
No one should ever doubt that TSOL is one of the top tier bands that blazed the early Punk trail and is still a favorite today. Jack engaged in some truly good heckling that kept us laughing. Toward the end of their set Duane came out to sing a few songs and close out the show with Code Blue. |
| TSOL has a new skate deck that is out on Punk Rock Skateboards that you can check out here. |
