Saturday is a skate day for sure like it is for the rest of you. We decided that we would go hit a few spots as we drove to Ventura for the 4th stop of The Misfits tour. This pool was like something out of a skatepark yet had a smooth tranny sandwiched in between limited tranny sections that took you to vert.
After we hit that we went down the road to Skate Lab in Simi Valley to skate a quick session before we got to Ventura. We get to the Ventura Theater with about 10 minutes to spare before DI went on. It was just enough time to take advantage of the free beer and Cokes back stage. Great performance and a gnarly pit was going off. DI blew threw their set that ended with "Richard Hung Himself".

This was double duty tonight. We split from The Ventura Theater with DI and traveled south 160 miles to Hemet, CA where DI was playing at The Wheelhouse with Dr.Know. We pretty much arrived right after Dr.Know played (bummer for us) and DI threw their gear out of the bus and on stage to play. At this show since they were closing out the night they played a long set. They had no set list and kinda let the audience call out the songs they wanted to hear and they played most of the stuff from the "Horse Bites, Dog Cries" record.
