The Hunns

After all that, could this show get anymore insane?... Yes it did. The master of disaster Duane Peters was now on with his band The Hunns. These guys are a pure Punk Rock kick in the face. This band puts on a bone breaking show that is just as gnarly as Duane's skating in the last few Soul Bowl comps.

With Corey Parks, formerly of Nashville Pussy, you know you are in for a show you will not forget. This band has continued to play all over the country and from what we understand Duane and his band are booked solid. Duane really know how to get the crowd going with lyrics that are fast and hardcore Punk.

During the show, Corey became a fire breathing dragon blowing fire out of here mouth (sorry our photo did not come out). Go see The Hunns when they come to your town for a kick ass show.
Look for Duane's new signature shoes to be out later this year from VISION Street Wear's footwear division. If you have been waiting for a cool Punk Rock shoe that you can gig or skate in, these are the ones for you.
The Adolescents

The Fullerton invasion soldiered on with the kids of the black hole closing out the night. As we walked around before the show to get people's overall feelings of the band and the show, one guy said he has waited 20 years to see The Adolescents - he was super stoked to be at the EMP show.

Opening up with "No Way" Tony wasted no time to interact with the fans that packed the venue, everyone was singing along. The crowd went just as wild as if this was The Starwood 20 years ago. The set consisted of the songs of the blue album and the Welcome to Reality EP. The kids in Seattle knew that they were seeing some real legends.

The worse part of this event was the end. The reality of the fun day of Punk Rock and Skateboarding was over thus closing another chapter of the EMP Hey Punk event. If you ever thought about getting on an airplane and flying to a Punk show this is the event to come to, you will not regret it. We want to thank that bands that played for giving us access to them though out the event. Of course the biggest thanks goes to The Experience Music Project for getting behind this event with their money, top flight staff and all the year long coordination it took to make this show come off as big as it did. Make sure you get here next year!
