New all ages Punk venue in Orange County opens in Costa Mesa California
After the demise of the Clinic in Santa Ana and several other all ages venues across Orange County, the OC punk scene has been hurting for a new all ages venue to open. Finally the World Gallery in Costa Mesa is answering to the call and opening a new room behind the gallery specifically designed for holding shows. Read the story »

MIA at Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, CA
It’s not easy to fill the shoes of Mike Conley on vocals, but Todd Sampson (formerly of Self Abuse) obviously takes the task seriously. Sampson, who was joined by surviving members of the band brings energy and charisma to the stage along with a great voice for MIA’s melodic hardcore style. Read the story »

Though this band hails from Connecticut, it would be easy to mistake them for an early 80’s HC band like the Adolescents or even Grey Matter. These guys have some seriously catchy tunes that are anything but weak!
